The Full Stack Engineer will collaborate with a cross-functional team to implement high-scale data ingestion, enabling customers to gain insights and accelerate power grid development.
Responsibilities include developing with TypeScript, building user interfaces using React[-Native], and providing backend support with Node.js.
The engineer will own complex features from design to production, ensuring scalability, reliability, and observability.
The role requires stewardship of data ownership, maintaining security and privacy for user data.
Participation in code reviews and design discussions is expected to uphold high technical standards.
The engineer will contribute to a collaborative culture by sharing ideas and providing feedback to peers.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of professional experience with Node.js/TypeScript, React (or similar framework), and Postgres (or similar relational database).
Experience with GraphQL is considered a plus.
A strong understanding of the reasons behind software development decisions is essential.
Candidates should be able to analyze how observability impacts reliability and enjoy solving performance and user experience issues.
A collaborative mindset is necessary to tackle nuanced problems and provide constructive feedback.
The ability to confront challenging problems head-on and lead solutions is required.
Experience with data integrations, managing large datasets, database sharding, event-driven architectures, and machine learning is a plus.
