Remote Full Stack Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Full Stack Engineer will implement new features, transform existing products, and build stable, extendable, and testable code.
• Responsibilities include participating in design and code reviews, deploying to Production and Staging environments, and being available on the On-Call Schedule for outages.
• The engineer will also mentor junior engineers and modernize infrastructure by migrating from a Python monolith to microservices in Kubernetes.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in increasingly complex engineering organizations is required.
• Experience with consumer-facing applications or web development is strongly preferred.
• A B.S. in Computer Science or a similar technical field of study is necessary, along with a strong grasp of dynamic programming.
• Extensive full-stack or backend engineering experience with Python and React is required; experience with Golang is a plus.
• Candidates should have experience designing and building real-world web applications and JavaScript libraries with cross-browser support.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and proper testing efforts is essential.
• A passion for continuous learning of new technologies and best implementations is expected.
