Description:

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Full-Stack Engineer (m/f/d) to join one of our portfolio companies and assist in building and scaling its technical foundation.
  • The role involves designing and developing a secure, reliable, and scalable platform while contributing to key architectural decisions and delivering impactful solutions.
  • The portfolio company is a German Climate Tech startup focused on simplifying connectivity in the EV charging industry, providing an affordable and scalable platform for seamless and reliable electric vehicle charging across Europe.
  • Responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable system architectures for high-performance applications, developing and optimizing backend systems using Kotlin or another JVM language, and building and maintaining intuitive frontend solutions using React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
  • The engineer will provide technical leadership by driving best practices, mentoring team members, and fostering a culture of collaboration.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to align technical solutions with product goals and business needs.
  • The role also involves scaling and improving infrastructure using tools like AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker for enhanced reliability and performance.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience as a Full-Stack Engineer with strong backend development skills in Kotlin, Java, or another JVM language.
  • Proficiency in frontend development with frameworks such as React, Next.js, and TypeScript is required, along with an interest in maintaining a scalable and well-structured frontend system.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure tools and cloud platforms like AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker is necessary to ensure scalability and reliability.
  • A pragmatic, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership is essential for delivering impactful solutions in an early-stage startup environment.
  • Candidates should be adept at navigating a remote-first setup, fostering effective collaboration through clear and proactive communication while sharing knowledge to support team success.
  • Experience in fintech, energy, or other infrastructure-heavy industries is considered a plus.
  • Applicants must be available to work within the CET timezone.
