Remote Full Stack Engineer

Description:

• JupiterOne is a cyber asset attack surface management (CAASM) platform company that provides visibility and security into the entire cyber asset universe.
• The company uses graphs and relationships to create a contextual knowledge base for an organization's cyber asset operations.
• As a Full Stack Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using JavaScript and TypeScript.
• You will build dynamic, user-friendly front-end interfaces with React and robust APIs and backend services using Node.js.
• The role involves working closely with product, design, and security teams to deliver high-quality software.
• You will be responsible for writing clean, maintainable, and testable code while following industry best practices.
• Optimizing applications for speed, scalability, and security is a key responsibility.
• You will deploy and manage cloud-based applications, leveraging AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and Kubernetes (nice to have).
• Researching and integrating AI/ML technologies, including large language models (LLMs), where applicable, is also part of the job.

Requirements:

• You must have 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with a modern front-end framework, with React preferred.
• Solid experience with backend development using Node.js or a similar framework is required.
• You should have experience working with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• An understanding of modern DevOps practices, CI/CD, and cloud platforms, with AWS preferred, is necessary.
• The ability to write high-quality, maintainable code and contribute to system architecture is essential.
• A security-conscious mindset is important, and experience with cybersecurity is a plus.
• Bonus qualifications include experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS, etc.), familiarity with LLMs and their practical applications, and exposure to security, compliance, or risk management software.
