Responsibilities include building features across the stack using technologies such as Typescript, React, PostgreSQL, Redis, Node.js, Python, REST, and Docker.
The position also involves building APIs and SDKs for accessing ML/DL models, defining technical specifications, and debugging across the production stack.
The work environment follows a Scrum engineering process and is customer-focused, operating within a lean, evolving late-stage startup.

Requirements:

A BS/MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or an equivalent computational science degree is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in SaaS backend engineering, specifically with Node.js, Typescript, and/or Python, and familiarity with a Github and Terraform-based CI/CD deployment system.
The role requires technical lead capabilities, along with a collaborative and mentoring mindset.
Experience in building end-to-end capabilities and working with microservices is essential.
Candidates should demonstrate drive and ambition to take ownership of their work.
A polyglot engineer mindset is preferred, with deep expertise in backend development and front-end skills, along with a willingness to explore unfamiliar areas.
Strong preference is given to candidates based in the Pacific, Mountain, and Central time zones.
