Remote Full Stack Engineer

Description:

• The company, Porter, is a healthcare IT and services platform that focuses on care and coverage coordination to optimize outcomes and member experience.
• The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web and mobile-web applications and APIs using modern technologies and AWS managed services.
• Responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, debugging application code, developing architectures for scalability and security, testing and deploying code, and documenting application changes.

Requirements:

• Design, develop, and maintain web, mobile-web, and API applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components.
• Leverage various AWS Managed Services such as API Gateway, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, Lambda, Secret Manager, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, X-Ray, and IAM.
• Implement security coding standards, validate code using tools like SonarCloud, Dependabot, and ZAP OWSP, and ensure compliance with best practices.
• Build and deploy code across different environments using CI/CD pipelines, optimizing them for efficiency and reliability.
• Use AWS KMS and Secret Manager for secure authentication and authorization.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in Python, strong understanding of AWS services, familiarity with security best practices, experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD), excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to work in an agile environment.
