ClickHouse is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for its Billing Engineering team, responsible for building the billing platform behind ClickHouse Cloud.
The role involves designing and building mission-critical processes that ensure operational continuity.
Engineers will create frameworks and platforms that are secure, efficient, and highly available, while abstracting infrastructure complexity.
Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams is essential to define business strategies, user needs, and optimal solutions.
The position requires integration with various systems, including Billing, Metering, Logging, Monitoring, and Support.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of relevant software development experience, particularly in building front-end systems on the cloud.
A minimum of 1+ years of experience in developing billing or metering systems is required.
Proficiency in technologies such as React, TypeScript, Serverless, and Node.JS is essential, with encouragement for proficiency in multiple languages.
Experience with billing concepts, including credit card processing, usage-based billing, and invoicing, is necessary.
Candidates should have experience leading and shipping large scope technical projects in collaboration with other engineers.
A strong ownership mentality and experience in building and operating high-scale, distributed systems across the full software life cycle are required.
Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their infrastructure as a service offerings is needed.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within and across teams are essential.
Strong problem-solving abilities and solid production debugging skills are required.
