ClickHouse is seeking a Full Stack Engineer for their Billing Engineering team, responsible for building the billing platform behind ClickHouse Cloud.
The role involves designing and building mission-critical processes that ensure operational continuity.
Engineers will create with purpose, making informed decisions throughout the creative process to effectively present ideas and solutions to stakeholders.
Responsibilities include delivering secure, efficient, and highly available frameworks and platforms that simplify infrastructure complexity.
The position requires collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams to define business strategies, user needs, and optimal solutions.
Integration with various systems such as Billing, Metering, Logging, Monitoring, and Support is essential.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of relevant software development experience, particularly in building front-end systems on the cloud.
A minimum of 1+ years of experience in developing billing or metering systems is required.
Proficiency in Full Stack coding, including React, TypeScript, Serverless, and Node.JS, is necessary, with encouragement for proficiency in multiple languages.
Experience with billing concepts such as credit card processing, usage-based billing, metering, and invoicing is essential.
Candidates should have experience leading and shipping large scope technical projects in collaboration with other engineers.
A strong ownership of code quality and experience in building and operating high-scale, distributed systems across the software life cycle is expected.
Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their infrastructure as a service offerings is required.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within and across teams are necessary.
Strong problem-solving abilities and solid production debugging skills are essential.
