ClickHouse is seeking a Full Stack Engineer specializing in Billing to join their team remotely in the United Kingdom.

The Billing Engineering team is responsible for developing the billing platform for ClickHouse Cloud, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure reliability, scalability, privacy, security, and compliance.
The role involves designing and building critical processes, creating secure and efficient frameworks, integrating with different systems, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience in front-end development, billing or metering systems, technologies like React, Typescript, Serverless, Node.JS, and expertise with public cloud providers.
Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to work are essential for this position.
Requirements:
5+ years of software development experience in building front-end systems on the cloud.
1+ years of experience in building billing or metering systems.
Proficiency in technologies such as React, Typescript, Serverless, Node.JS, with knowledge of multiple languages encouraged.
Familiarity with billing concepts like credit card processing, usage-based billing, metering, invoicing, sales tax, and auditing.
Experience leading and shipping large technical projects in collaboration with other engineers.
Expertise in building and operating high-scale distributed systems across the software life cycle.
Strong problem-solving skills, production debugging abilities, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, teamwork capabilities, and a sense of ownership and accountability.
