Description:
Our client is upgrading their website into a fully functional web application with features including booking, payment processing, and a sleek, modern UI/UX.
This foundation will also pave the way for an upcoming mobile app.
The position is for a Full Stack Engineer who is passionate about building scalable, user-friendly applications from the ground up.
The job is remote, with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM EST.
Key responsibilities include upgrading the existing website into a dynamic web app, translating UI/UX designs into an interactive front-end experience, developing robust APIs and database structures, implementing a secure payment processing system, ensuring the web app is fast and scalable, and structuring the codebase for future mobile application transition.
The engineer will work closely with designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to bring the vision to life.
Requirements:
Strong experience with React, Next.js, Vue.js, or similar front-end frameworks is required.
Expertise in Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or Ruby on Rails for back-end development is necessary.
Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Firebase for database management is essential.
A strong knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL APIs for API development is required.
The ability to translate Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD designs into high-quality front-end code is necessary.
Familiarity with Stripe, PayPal, or other payment gateways for payment integration is required.
Experience deploying applications using AWS, Google Cloud, or similar cloud providers is essential.
A strong understanding of Git and GitHub workflows for version control is necessary.
Knowledge of web security vulnerabilities and mitigation techniques is required.
