Remote Full Stack Engineer

Description:

• Join UnboundEd, the nation's largest equity-focused professional learning organization, to empower educators and transform teaching and learning.
• Collaborate as a Full Stack Engineer to support the delivery of new professional development courses for teachers.
• Lead the development and maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS) using PHP 8.3, Laravel framework, MySQL, VueJS, and AWS.
• Drive technical decisions, influence product strategy, and contribute to the codebase.
• Expand feature set, enhance data collection and reporting capabilities, and implement automation processes.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve user experience and business operations.

Requirements:

• Lead development of new features and improvements to the LMS, maintaining front-end and back-end components.
• Drive key technical decisions, define architectural runway for future innovation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Design and implement data reporting and analytics features, create automation tools, and ensure application security, scalability, and optimal performance.
• Stay updated with industry trends, implement version control systems, Agile methodologies, and high-quality standards.
• Possess 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, proficiency in PHP, Laravel, VueJS, MySQL, and Docker.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and effective communication skills.
• Nice to have: experience in EdTech, CMS, LMS, UI design, user data collection, DevOps practices, and passion for education.
