Description:
The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for developing features for web applications within the cloud communications and APIs realm, including sign-up workflows, payment systems, and features supporting various products like Messaging, Voice, Verify, Insight, and AI Studio.
Collaboration with product management, UX specialists, QA testers, and internal users to ensure a top-notch User Experience across multiple platforms.
Promotion of a well-designed Java, JavaScript, and Typescript codebase, focusing on internal design improvements, build processes, deployment, object-oriented design, automated testing, error handling, logging, and monitoring.
The role involves being part of a Dev Ops culture, considering application deployment, scalability, and performance under load.
The position offers exposure to diverse Vonage API products and services, providing insights into various product teams internally.
Requirements:
4+ years of programming experience.
1 year of experience with relational databases and SQL.
Proficiency in Java, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
Familiarity with JavaScript, Typescript, and front-end frameworks (preferably Vue Js, but React experience is acceptable).
Experience with JUnit unit tests, HTML, and CSS3.
Cloud experience, preferably with AWS.
Ability to quickly adapt to new software, frameworks, and APIs.
Understanding of monitoring, systems provisioning, and networking is a plus.
