Description:

  • The Full Stack Engineer will be responsible for developing features for web applications within the cloud communications and APIs realm, including sign-up workflows, payment systems, and features supporting various products like Messaging, Voice, Verify, Insight, and AI Studio.
  • Collaboration with product management, UX specialists, QA testers, and internal users to ensure a top-notch User Experience across multiple platforms.
  • Promotion of a well-designed Java, JavaScript, and Typescript codebase, focusing on internal design improvements, build processes, deployment, object-oriented design, automated testing, error handling, logging, and monitoring.
  • The role involves being part of a Dev Ops culture, considering application deployment, scalability, and performance under load.
  • The position offers exposure to diverse Vonage API products and services, providing insights into various product teams internally.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of programming experience.
  • 1 year of experience with relational databases and SQL.
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript, Typescript, and front-end frameworks (preferably Vue Js, but React experience is acceptable).
  • Experience with JUnit unit tests, HTML, and CSS3.
  • Cloud experience, preferably with AWS.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new software, frameworks, and APIs.
  • Understanding of monitoring, systems provisioning, and networking is a plus.
