Description:

Fonoa is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to contribute to transforming how digital-first companies stay tax compliant by providing simple and modular API solutions.

Engineers are given customer problems to solve, understand customer needs before implementation, and co-own the product roadmap with product managers.
The tech stack includes Node, Go, ReactJS, Typescript, PostgreSQL, Azure, GCP, Terraform, Kubernetes CRDs, ArgoCD, and DataDog.
Responsibilities include building REST APIs, implementing back-end business logic, creating front-end interfaces, writing high-quality code, and understanding customer needs and pain points related to tax automation.

Requirements:

Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
Strong sense of ownership, care about the quality of work, and customer service orientation are essential.
Experience with node.js, Typescript, Go, and ReactJS is preferred, but willingness to learn is also valued.
Ability to operate large-scale microservices in high-growth environments and a proactive attitude towards challenges are necessary.
Comfortable with continuous learning, data-driven decision-making, and adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
Desire to make a significant impact and enthusiasm for working in a high-growth startup are important qualities.
