Description:
Deel is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to join their global team dedicated to helping businesses hire talent from anywhere in the world.
The role involves being part of a cross-functional team that includes Backend Engineers, Frontend Engineers, Product Teams, Designers, and QA’s.
Responsibilities include participating in product planning from discovery to deployment, collaborating to develop new features and improve existing products, and ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
The engineer will fully own the development of features on the client, server, service, and database.
The position requires developing high-quality, responsive web applications using TypeScript, Javascript, React, and Express, with experience in NestJS, Vite, and Next.js being a plus.
The engineer will design and implement server-side APIs, data models, and business logic, create client-side React components, optimize database schemas, and perform thorough testing and debugging.
Staying updated with web development trends and participating in code reviews are also key responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will communicate project progress effectively and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, particularly with TypeScript development.
Expertise in designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications using the specified technologies.
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, remote-first work culture and take ownership of projects while excelling in a team setting.
Strong communication skills to convey complex ideas and collaborate with diverse teams.
A passion for solving customer problems and a natural aptitude for troubleshooting issues.
