Description:
Calendly is seeking a Full Stack Engineer II to join their Engineering team, focusing on innovation to enhance customer experience.
The engineer will report to an Engineering Manager and will be responsible for supporting features and architecture to maintain user confidence in Calendly.
Daily responsibilities include building new features, scaling the platform, and creating tooling and automation for the delivery process.
The role involves working with technologies such as Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Rails, NodeJS, React, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
The engineer will collaborate with the team to develop features for enterprise customers, contribute to platform scaling, and meet with Product and Design teams to refine requirements.
Participation in agile ceremonies and reviewing implementation plans and pull requests from peers is also expected.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 2+ years of Software Development experience at a SaaS or technology company.
Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and microservices is required.
Proficiency in TypeScript, Node, Python, or a comparable web-app development framework is necessary; Rails experience is a plus.
A strong drive to create clean, reliable, and maintainable code is essential.
