Remote Full Stack Engineer III

Description:

• The Full Stack Engineer III position at Calendly involves working on decomposing the monolithic platform into various services to scale the platform and team.
• Responsibilities include building new features, scaling the platform and architecture, developing tooling and automation, and working with technologies like Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, Rails, NodeJS, React, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• The role requires collaborating with the team to build features for enterprise customers, contributing to platform scaling initiatives, refining requirements with Product and Design, participating in agile ceremonies, improving Engineering practices, reviewing peers' implementation plans, and mentoring team members.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Software Development experience at a SaaS or technology company.
• Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) (microservices).
• Experience in transitioning from a Monolith to Services architectural rebuild.
• Proficiency in Rails, Node, or a comparable web-app development framework.
• Ability to write clean, reliable, and maintainable code.
• Authorization to work legally in the United States of America without immigration sponsorship.
