Remote Full Stack Engineer III

Description:

• The Full Stack Engineer III position at Calendly involves working on high-impact features to enhance the meeting lifecycle platform using artificial intelligence for intuitive user experiences.
• Responsibilities include understanding and implementing full-stack requirements from UI to API to database design, collaborating with cross-squad teams, and driving development from design to delivery to maintenance.
• The role requires working with technologies such as TypeScript (NodeJS), Python, React, Rails, Docker, PostgreSQL, and more.
• Daily tasks include building new features, contributing to platform scaling initiatives, fine-tuning requirements with Product and Design teams, participating in agile ceremonies, improving Engineering practices, reviewing peers' implementation plans, and mentoring team members.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of Software Development experience at a SaaS or technology company.
• Experience with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) (microservices).
• Ability to craft clean, reliable, and maintainable code, with a problem-solving approach centered around collaboration and compromise.
• Nice-to-have experience with Rails, Node (with TypeScript), and/or Python.
• Availability for participation in on-call rotation for business-critical alerts outside regular working hours.
• Authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not provide immigration sponsorship.
