Description:

  • Terminal Velocity, part of the Rocket Science Group, is seeking a Full Stack Engineer in Lisbon to develop scalable and resilient solutions for games.
  • The role involves designing, implementing, and evolving robust technical solutions that enhance player experiences globally.
  • Candidates should have experience working within software development teams to deliver high-performance, scalable, and well-documented platform-based products.
  • While prior game development experience is not required, candidates should be open to new challenges and possess a passion for games.
  • The company values technical skills in backend languages (C#, Golang, Java, Python, Kotlin, Rust), frontend languages (React, NextJS, Typescript), databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, NoSQL), infrastructure (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD).
  • Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile practices is preferred.
  • Candidates should demonstrate a history of improving processes and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivation, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills for team collaboration are essential.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience in software development teams and be able to deliver high-performance, scalable, and well-documented products.
  • Proficiency in one or more backend languages (C#, Golang, Java, Python, Kotlin, Rust) is required.
  • Experience with frontend languages (React, NextJS, Typescript) and databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, NoSQL) is necessary.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure tools (Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD practices (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD) is expected.
  • A solid understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies is important.
  • Candidates should have a proactive approach to problem-solving and a history of improving processes.
  • Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently are required.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are essential.
