Remote Full Stack Engineer (Node/Python and React)

Description:

• A Full Stack Engineer at Creative Chaos is responsible for developing both the front-end and back-end of web applications.
• This position requires expertise in Node.js and Python for back-end development and proficiency in React for front-end development.
• The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology and a commitment to quality, ensuring seamless integration of user-facing elements and server-side functionalities.
• Duties include developing and maintaining web applications using Node.js, Python, and React.
• The engineer will collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate visual designs into interactive applications.
• Responsibilities also include working on database design and implementation, implementing server-side logic, and integrating with front-end components.
• The engineer must write clean, scalable, and efficient code, troubleshoot and debug applications, and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality standards.
• Continuous discovery, evaluation, and implementation of new technologies to maximize development efficiency is expected.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features is essential.
• Ensuring the security and robustness of applications is a key responsibility.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• The candidate must have 4+ years of experience in software development with strong knowledge of Node.js and Python.
• Experience working with React and modern front-end development frameworks is necessary.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture is required.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases is essential.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git, is needed.
• An understanding of CI/CD principles is required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role.
• The ability to manage time efficiently and work on multiple projects simultaneously is required.
• Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies is a plus.
