Remote Full-Stack Engineer (Python & Shopify Integration)

Description:

• Oowlish is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in Python and Shopify integration to join their team in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil.
• The position is remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance.
• The engineer will develop and optimize Shopify API integrations using REST and GraphQL.
• Responsibilities include implementing the Shopify Billing API for managing subscriptions and payments, and utilizing Shopify Webhooks for real-time event processing.
• The role involves building and maintaining scalable REST/GraphQL APIs using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• The engineer will manage and optimize databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• The position requires working with third-party Shopify integrations to enhance platform capabilities.
• The engineer will leverage AI-driven development tools to enhance efficiency and implement AI-powered solutions using Langchain and LlamaIndex.
• Deployment and management of applications on AWS infrastructure is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in Python development.
• Proven experience working with Shopify APIs, including Admin API, Billing API, and Webhooks, is required.
• A strong background in building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs is essential.
• Experience with backend development using Django, Flask, or FastAPI is necessary.
• Knowledge of database management systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB is required.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools for coding efficiency, such as GitHub Copilot, Codium, and Continue, is a must.
• A passion for AI and automation in software development is expected.
• Familiarity with AWS services for deployment and cloud computing is required.
