Description:

Oowlish is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in Python and Shopify integration to join their team in Mexico City.
The position is remote, allowing for a flexible work-life balance.
The engineer will develop and optimize Shopify API integrations using REST and GraphQL.
Responsibilities include implementing the Shopify Billing API for managing subscriptions and payments.
The role involves utilizing Shopify Webhooks for real-time event processing.
The engineer will build and maintain scalable REST/GraphQL APIs using frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
Database management and optimization will be required, specifically with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
The engineer will work with third-party Shopify integrations to enhance platform capabilities.
AI-driven development tools like GitHub Copilot, Codium, and Continue will be leveraged to improve efficiency.
The role includes implementing AI-powered solutions using Langchain and LlamaIndex.
Deployment and management of applications on AWS infrastructure are also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in Python development.
Proven experience with Shopify APIs, including Admin API, Billing API, and Webhooks, is required.
A strong background in building and consuming REST and GraphQL APIs is essential.
Experience with backend development using Django, Flask, or FastAPI is necessary.
Knowledge of database management systems such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB is required.
Hands-on experience with AI tools for coding efficiency, such as GitHub Copilot, Codium, and Continue, is a must.
A passion for AI and automation in software development is expected.
Familiarity with AWS services for deployment and cloud computing is required.
