Remote Full-Stack Engineer (Python/React)

Description:

• Deel is seeking a Full-Stack Engineer with expertise in Python and React to join their team.
• The position is fully remote and open to candidates in the EMEA region.
• The engineer will work closely with Engineering, Product, and Design teams in a small independent group.
• Responsibilities include maintaining a profitable product used daily by Deel and ensuring a high-quality user experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer and at least 2+ years of experience with Python and server frameworks such as Flask or Django.
• Prior experience in developing APIs is required.
• Strong experience with AWS services including S3, Beanstalk, CloudFront, and RDS is necessary.
• Experience in owning, maintaining, and scaling a product is essential.
• Familiarity with Docker is required.
• Candidates should have significant experience with relational database technologies, particularly PostgreSQL and MySQL, as well as ORM libraries like Django’s ORM or Sequelize.
• A willingness to support new engineers in their development is expected.
• Knowledge of optimizing tools and automating workflows is important.
• Experience with functional and performance test automation is required.
• Candidates must thrive in a collaborative, remote-first work culture and communicate complex ideas in English effectively.
