Description:

  • Our client is an E-Commerce Analytics Software company based in San Francisco, focusing on data integration, visualization, and advanced data science for brands selling on Amazon and other marketplaces.
  • The platform empowers Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to make better decisions by identifying opportunities and making recommendations.
  • The company has a fully distributed team with members in five US states and five countries.
  • We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer with strong experience in designing and programming reporting dashboards.
  • The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data visualization principles and proficiency in developing end-to-end technology stacks using Python and React.
  • As a pivotal team member, you will develop solutions that empower data-driven decision-making for e-commerce clients.
  • Responsibilities include developing and maintaining front-end and back-end code for web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and developing scalable reporting dashboards.
  • You will implement front-end components using React.js, optimize data retrieval processes, and collaborate with data engineers for seamless data flow.
  • The role also involves managing the deployment process for new features and staying updated with emerging technologies in e-commerce analytics.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of 5+ years as a Full-Stack Developer or in a similar role, focusing on implementing reporting dashboards.
  • Strong proficiency in back-end development languages and frameworks such as Python/Django or similar MVC.
  • Experience in REST API development is required.
  • Proficiency in React.js and its core principles, with demonstrable experience in building dynamic and interactive user interfaces.
  • A solid understanding of JavaScript data visualization techniques and tools such as Highcharts, D3.js, Chart.js, or similar libraries is necessary.
  • Experience with designing and optimizing data models, database schemas, and data retrieval processes, along with solid SQL skills.
  • Proficiency in AWS (EC2, RDS, Elasticache, IAM, and networking) or a similar cloud provider is required.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset towards addressing technical challenges are necessary.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively is important.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
