Description:
The Full Stack Engineer will work on both back-end (Golang, Kafka, PostgreSQL, AWS, Terraform) and front-end (React Native, React, Redux) tasks seamlessly.
The role involves modernizing technology for managing task queues, migrating action permissions to Cerbos, enhancing agent scripts, automating billing processes, improving customer communications, and enhancing front-end test coverage.
The position requires collaborating with a team of software engineers, UX designers, and product managers to maintain UW’s Insurance products.
The Insurance team is responsible for creating, maintaining, and supporting insurance products in Utility Warehouse, with a focus on event-driven architecture.
The company works in small, autonomous teams with real ownership of products, using the best tools for the job and constantly seeking improvement.
Requirements:
Experience in planning and implementing software and microservices within an event-sourced architecture.
Proficiency in Golang, Kafka, PostgreSQL, AWS, Terraform, React Native, React, and Redux.
Ability to collaborate effectively with software engineers, UX designers, and product managers.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on both back-end and front-end tasks.
Prior experience in modernizing technology, automating processes, and enhancing test coverage.
Familiarity with event-driven architecture and working in small, autonomous teams.
