Description:

Gravity is seeking a Full Stack Engineer (Staff) to join their team in San Francisco or remotely.
The role focuses on building exceptional products that address real customer problems and contribute to reducing carbon emissions.
Engineers will have significant ownership over their projects and will work closely with cross-functional teams.
The engineering culture emphasizes thoughtful, maintainable solutions over short-term fixes, balancing velocity with sustainability.
In the first three months, the engineer will lead the development of impactful features, partner with Product, Design, and Climate Strategy teams, contribute to planning discussions, learn about customer challenges, and help shape engineering practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have a mindful and caring approach to addressing customer needs through technology.
Experience in translating business requirements into well-architected systems is required.
Comfort working across the stack, including frontend, backend, and ideally some infrastructure experience with AWS/Terraform, is necessary.
A track record of delivering quality software from 0→1 in small, early team environments is essential.
An eye for design is also required.
