Remote Full-stack Engineer (Startup Founding Engineer)

Description:

• Callidus is a startup focusing on legal AI, offering a powerful platform that allows lawyers to draft high-quality legal briefs in a short time.
• The company has recently secured funding and has a substantial customer base.
• The role is for a full-stack engineer who will be hands-on in coding, reporting to the CTO/CEO, and will have substantial ownership in the company.
• The tech stack includes Azure, Python backend interfacing with GPT-4 and other LLMs, ReactJS front-end, MongoDB, Milvus/Vector databases, Redis, and various foundation models.
• The position requires daily standups, collaboration, participation in hackathons, and a strong work ethic.
• Candidates must be dedicated, able to work U.S. hours, have a deep interest in AI, and be willing to fix critical issues in production.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in full-stack development using Python and React.
• Experience in DevOps with Azure.
• Ability to deliver high-quality code, detailed user experiences, and minimal bugs.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and LLM architectures.
• Strong communication skills, professionalism, and ownership mentality.
• Willingness to collaborate, join calls quickly, and work through problems with others.
• Responsiveness, intuitiveness, and a desire to build innovative solutions.
• Deep interest in AI and a strong work ethic.
• Full-time dedication and availability to work U.S. hours.
