Description:

Tolt is a platform that enables software companies to launch affiliate programs, providing essential features such as payments, referral tracking, fraud protection, and an affiliate portal.
The company is in its early stages, having received investments from LAUNCH and Jason Calacanis, and is currently working with over 500 startups generating over $1.5 million in additional monthly revenue through affiliate marketing.
The platform was built by the CTO, two front-end engineers, and ChatGPT, and the company is looking to hire two full-stack TypeScript software engineers to help achieve their goals for 2025.
The role requires scrappy engineers who can ship features daily, with a focus on backend development (Node/AWS).
The Full Stack Engineer will work closely with the CTO, taking ownership of key features and driving the platform’s evolution.
Responsibilities include embracing product ownership, thinking like a founder, interacting with users for support and insights, and contributing to support efforts.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 4 years of hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, demonstrating the ability to write clean and efficient code, or just 1 year of experience working on a SaaS product.
Expertise in Vanilla JavaScript/TypeScript and React for frontend development, along with Node.js for backend development, is required.
Knowledge of popular frameworks and libraries such as Next.js, Knex, and Tailwind is necessary.
Proficiency in creating complex backend features and a solid understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL is essential.
Experience with AWS services, including SQS, Lambda, API Gateway, and S3, is required.
Candidates should be comfortable using monitoring and error tracking tools (e.g., Bugsnag) and performing end-to-end testing (e.g., Cypress).
A founder-like mindset is crucial; candidates should be proactive, articulate, enjoy brainstorming new ideas, and thrive on using user feedback to deliver outstanding results.
SaaS or startup experience is considered a significant plus.

The position is for a Full Stack TypeScript Engineer, with full-time, permanent employment.
The role is remote, allowing for flexible work arrangements.
The salary ranges from $4000 to $6000 monthly.
Employees are entitled to a minimum of 32 days of annual vacation.
Employee stock options are available, ranging from 0.5% to 1%.
