Description:

  • Softrams, LLC is seeking a full-time Full-Stack (Java) Developer to join a collaborative team working on modern and usable applications for mission-critical U.S. federal government immigration IT solutions.
  • The role allows for 100% remote work, but the selected candidate must be available during standard East Coast working hours (9am ET to 5pm ET).
  • The developer must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a U.S. Federal Position of Trust clearance designation.
  • Responsibilities include analyzing complex business and engineering challenges, collaborating with UX teams, designing scalable solutions, explaining solutions to stakeholders, and mentoring team members.
  • The developer will work with technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, React, Angular, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and more.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of Agile cloud development experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Java/J2EE frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and UI frameworks like React, Angular.
  • Strong knowledge of RDBMS (Oracle, PostgreSQL) and experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with build tools like Maven and Gradle, CI/CD practices, GitHub, unit testing, and code coverage frameworks.
  • Experience working in agile environments using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Slack.
  • Experience with AWS ecosystem (S3, EKS, RDS, Lambda) and related tools.
  • Must have resided in the U.S. for 3 of the last 5 years.
