Remote Full Stack Java Engineer

Description:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend software systems and applications using Kotlin and related technologies.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintain coding standards.
• Identify and resolve software defects and issues.
• Continuously enhance software engineering practices and standards.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Proficiency in Kotlin/Java and related technologies such as Spring, Hibernate, and Maven
• Experience with CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins and Buildkite
• Experience with integration testing
• Experience with SQL databases and SQL queries
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
