Remote Full-Stack JavaScript Developer

Description:

• Develop and maintain web applications using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Work on server-side applications with Node.js.
• Adopt a cloud native mentality for developing new applications.
• Help refactor old code to use modern practices.
• Utilize Docker for containerization and manage deployments.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployments.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in Software Development.
• At least five years of experience working with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Node.js.
• Knowledge and practical experience with Docker deployments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Additional Languages: C#, Python, C++, golang, wasm, rust.
• Experience with gRPC for inter-service communication.
• Understanding and experience with GitOps practices.
• Experience with open telemetry and Prometheus.
• Thorough knowledge of Kubernetes lifecycle management and cloud native applications.
• Experience with automation and infrastructure as code, preferably with Azure (but any cloud provider is acceptable).
