Description:

The position is for a Full-Stack Laravel & Vue Developer working in the Australian Education & E-commerce sector, with a work-from-home arrangement.
The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM AEST.
The developer will be responsible for developing, extending, and maintaining the company’s custom-built inventory management system.
They will implement new features and improve existing functionality using Laravel and VueJS.
The role requires ensuring clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
The developer will integrate and manage third-party APIs, such as Neto API and Shopify API, and work with SQL databases to ensure data integrity and performance optimization.
They will identify and fix bugs to ensure system stability and security, and conduct testing and troubleshooting for performance improvements.
Collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and other developers is essential, along with using Git for version control and adhering to coding standards.
The developer will assist in the migration from Laravel 5.4 to Laravel 11+ and PHP 7.1 to PHP 8+, while staying updated on industry trends to suggest improvements.

Requirements:

Strong skills in PHP and JavaScript, with expertise in Laravel and VueJS.
Experience with SQL databases and API integration is required.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and full-stack development is necessary.
Proficiency in Git for version control is essential.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills are required for this position.
