Remote Full-Stack PHP Developer - Patient Portal Team (100% remote-friendly within Poland)

Description:

• Join the Patient Portal Team in the Integration area to create embeddable widgets for Clinics and Doctors, enhancing their efficiency and experience within their software.
• Collaborate with experts in PHP, .Net, Vue.js, and Electron.
• Work closely with a team of 3 developers (2 Front-end, 1 Back-end) and various other professionals like Engineers, Team Leaders, Product Managers, Content Designers, Researchers, and a Data Analyst.
• Design modular and scalable frontend components for easy integration across platforms.
• Ensure secure communication between frontend applications and backend services, managing complexities of APIs and data sources.
• Impact the product significantly by discussing technologies, business decisions, and new features.
• Create scalable frontend and backend solutions used globally.
• Work in an agile approach to deliver value for doctors and clinics, focusing on backend development, code stability, performance, refactoring, maintenance, and new feature development.
• Maintain code quality through documentation, coding standards, tests, and code reviews.

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in web applications.
• Practical experience in designing backend architecture and APIs.
• Proficiency in PHP and Symfony.
• Skilled in relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Experience with JavaScript ES6, TypeScript, and modern JS frameworks (Vue3 preferred, React or Angular also accepted).
• Ability to work with applications at scale.
• Previous experience in a product team with a product-oriented mindset.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written) at a minimum B2 level.
• Bonus points for experience with Vue3, Pinia, Git, ELK Stack, DataDog, GitHub Actions, layered architecture, strategic DDD concepts, Docker, Kubernetes, and Web Performance Optimization.
