Description:

PeopleGrove is seeking a Full-Stack PHP Software Engineer based in India for a full-time remote position.
The engineer will be part of a small team, working on a dynamic cloud-based software platform designed for universities, companies, and nonprofits to enhance mentoring and networking initiatives.
Responsibilities include developing new features to improve user experience, enhancing existing features, streamlining client implementations, improving technical architecture, building a continuous integration pipeline, and modernizing the front-end using new frameworks.
The role requires involvement in various technical aspects due to the small team size.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in building consumer-facing web applications.
A strong interest in full-stack development and a passion for building features from start to finish is essential.
The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with a deep interest in technology, capable of contributing opinions and shaping engineering practices.
An eye for design is important, as the engineer will play a significant role in enhancing the product's visual appeal.
Candidates should believe in the mission of the company and have a passion for working in education to help students succeed.
Familiarity with technologies such as PHP, Laravel, Vanilla JS, jQuery, Vue.js, React, Kubernetes, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, and RabbitMQ is preferred, but not mandatory for skilled candidates.
