ActiveCampaign is seeking a Full Stack Product Engineer to enhance their WhatsApp-based CRM, Marketing, and automation platform.
The role involves improving product onboarding, activation, and WhatsApp-specific features to help users effectively manage communication with their customers.
Responsibilities include enhancing the onboarding experience, iterating on activation and retention flows, and implementing new WhatsApp features as they are released by Meta.
The engineer will primarily work with a Django-based backend and a React+Tailwind frontend, utilizing tools like Posthog for user analytics.
The position requires mentoring team members in user-first web platform design and development.
Collaboration with the product and sales teams is essential to understand user needs and implement necessary product changes quickly.

Requirements:

A Computer Science degree is not required; experience in startups and a passion for building products are valued.
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in full-stack or frontend roles, demonstrating strong design and UI/UX knowledge.
Familiarity with the technical environment, including Python (Django), Typescript, React, Tailwind, PostgreSQL, Redis, and various development tools, is expected.
A commitment to quality is essential, with a focus on thorough testing and quick responses to defects.
