Our current tech stack includes Ruby on Rails, Typescript, React, AWS, GCP, and Microservices, with data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, and RedShift.
The role is for a Senior/Staff/Lead Rails/Typescript Engineer, with responsibilities split 40% front-end (Typescript) and 60% back-end (Ruby on Rails).
Responsibilities include end-to-end feature development, contributing to real-time capabilities, building front-end components, and performance optimization.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 6+ years of full-stack experience in building and scaling services using Ruby and JavaScript, with a preference for Typescript experience.
Strong proficiency in both Ruby on Rails and modern JavaScript web development is required.
Experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of microservices is essential.
Candidates should have experience in building and architecting microservices and distributed systems, particularly deploying on AWS or GCP.
The ability to write test suites and deploy using a CI/CD pipeline is necessary.
Knowledge of database systems, specifically Postgres and SQL, is required.
