Description:

  • Brightline is seeking a Senior/Staff Full Stack Ruby on Rails Software Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis.

  • Continuous deployments are supported through feature toggles and an extensive test suite.
  • Data management involves PostgreSQL and Redis, with data collection and reporting facilitated by Ahoy, FluentD, Stitch, and Snowflake.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have professional experience developing software with Ruby on Rails.
  • A passion for improving behavioral health for children, teens, and their families is essential.
  • Collaboration with team members from various departments, including product and marketing, is expected.
  • Candidates should take ownership of projects and see them through, beyond just coding.
  • Thoughtfulness and empathy in decision-making, execution, communication, and collaboration are crucial.
  • Interest in improving infrastructure and monitoring for web and native apps, as well as databases, is required.
  • Experience with frontend development, particularly using Hotwire, is preferred.
  • Interest in working on native mobile apps built with Hotwire Native is a plus.
