Description:

The Wanderlust Group, an outdoor technology company, is seeking a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to join their team.
The company focuses on building marketplaces connecting boaters with marinas and developing technology to support marinas.
The successful candidate will work in a collaborative environment with Engineers, Designers, and Product Managers to create software for marinas and boaters.
Responsibilities include leading project threads, maintaining Engineering technologies, and platforms.
The company is fully remote but has in-person gatherings several times a year.
Technologies used include Ruby on Rails, React, Postgres, Sidekiq, Datadog, Swift, Github, Heroku, AWS, and Stripe.
The position offers a salary range of $150,000 - $180,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

Requirements:

Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in object-oriented web programming, with Ruby on Rails experience being a plus.
Experience with relational databases, particularly Postgres.
Familiarity with caching and queueing systems, such as Sidekiq and Redis.
Knowledge of frontend and UX, with React experience being a plus.
Proficiency in observability tools like Datadog.
Strong skills in testing, profiling, and debugging practices.
Ability to work in a team environment, contribute to a healthy team culture, and solve business needs through critical thinking and systems design.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and participation in on-call support.
