Remote Full Stack Software Developer

Description:

• The position is for a Software Development Engineer at Orchid Software Solutions, focusing on improving the assisted reproduction technology industry through tailored applications.
• Responsibilities include designing, architecting, and delivering innovative products and solutions, code reviewing and coaching engineering peers, managing testing and bug fixes, preparing technical documentation, estimating and executing project timelines, collaborating with UX/UI designers, implementing software enhancements, and suggesting improvements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of full stack development experience using Python (Flask) & Javascript or similar backend technologies.
• Experience with Saas Applications.
• Minimum 5 years of relational database experience & schema design.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (Scrum, Kanban, JIRA).
• Knowledge of common AWS services and software design patterns.
• Proficiency in Python data science packages (Pandas, NumPy, etc.).
• Strong communication skills.
• Bonus requirements include React/NextJS experience and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Education: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Mathematics with a focus on computer science, or related fields preferred.
• Work Authorization: US Citizen or Green Card.
