Remote Full Stack Software Engineer

Description:

• Segmed is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to work remotely on developing and maintaining their web platform, Segmed Insight.
• The role involves building, improving, and scaling the Golang web backend, Python pipeline, and React.js frontend.
• Responsibilities include writing specifications for new web backend features, writing clean and documented code, analyzing and stress-testing the backend for stability, and collaborating with the product team to ensure usability and security.
• The position offers the opportunity to have a significant impact on the implementation and scalability of the cloud platform.
• The Full Stack Software Engineer will report to the Director of Engineering and must possess strong people skills, be a team player, and work efficiently in a remote environment.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in React.js / Javascript, Golang / Python / Postgres / AWS, and the full software lifecycle (design, maintenance, refactoring, testing).
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setup using tools like Slack, JIRA, and GitLab.
• Superior attention to detail, excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written), and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of healthcare ecosystems, HIPAA, GDPR regulations, radiologic imaging modalities, and healthcare industry experience are desirable.
