Description:

Our client, an innovative education technology company, is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to develop and optimize scalable applications.
This role involves working with Node.js, React.js, and Postgres, as well as integrating third-party APIs and managing AWS cloud infrastructure.
The position is fully remote, with working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM EST.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and maintaining system applications, building and managing Node.js REST APIs, and developing clean, responsive user interfaces.
The engineer will also work with AWS cloud services for hosting and scaling applications, leverage third-party APIs, and write efficient, maintainable code.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams and maintaining source control using Git are essential parts of the role.
The engineer must be available for occasional extended work hours, weekends, and holidays as required.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in full-stack development with Node.js and React.js.
Experience with Postgres or similar relational database engines is required.
A proven track record of developing scalable applications and REST APIs is essential.
Proficiency in front-end and back-end development with React.js and Node.js is necessary.
Experience managing AWS cloud infrastructure is required.
Strong knowledge of coding best practices, patterns, and system architecture is essential.
Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills are required.
Familiarity with Git for source control and version management is necessary.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills are required.
Experience with LLMs, AI, or similar technologies, development of Chrome extensions, and building applications with WebRTC or other streaming technologies are highly advantageous.
Familiarity with Scrum or Agile methodologies is a plus.
