Orum is an AI-driven, live conversation platform that enhances sales efficiency and lowers customer acquisition costs for companies of all sizes.
The Full Stack Engineer role involves building and owning features end-to-end, from conception to implementation and iteration.
Responsibilities include developing AI features, routing calls through an event-based SIP Softswitch, displaying real-time call information in the UI over WebSockets, processing streaming audio for speech recognition, and working on data visualization features.
The company is remote-first and in a hyper-growth phase, processing over 1 million calls per day.
The current technology stack includes NodeJS with Typescript, Ruby, Postgres, Google Cloud Platform, and FreeSWITCH.
Applicants must be legally entitled to work in the US without employer sponsorship.
The salary range for this position is $140,000 - $155,000, based on the candidate's experience.

Requirements:

Candidates must be based in the US, as the company is unable to sponsor Visas at this time.
A minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience is required.
At least 1 year of experience building backend applications with the Node/React stack is necessary.
Familiarity with front-end HTML and CSS is required.
Nice to have skills include knowledge of Typescript, experience measuring and tuning performance of NodeJS applications, working with an RDBMS using SQL, building front ends with React, knowledge of shell scripting, experience with cloud infrastructure programming (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and building CI/CD pipelines.
