Remote Full Stack Software Engineer

Description:

• LightFeather is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team remotely on a full-time basis.
• The engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications that support user accounts, applicant experiences, and various company workflows.
• This is a long-term project that requires candidates to thrive in a collaborative team culture.
• Key responsibilities include designing and developing scalable web applications using React, Ruby on Rails, and Formik.
• The engineer will build and maintain form-based web applications to digitize user applications and improve usability.
• They will implement validation and automation testing using Yup and Cypress.
• Enhancing UI/UX experiences for user accounts, biometric scheduling, and secure messaging is also part of the role.
• The engineer will support feature rollouts, optimizations, and internal production operations.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be US citizens.
• An active clearance at the Public Trust level or above is required.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is necessary.
• Candidates should have 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer with expertise in React.
• Strong knowledge of Formik with Yup validation, Cypress, and API integrations is required.
• Experience with Git is essential.
• The ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor existing codebases is necessary.
• Candidates must be able to work as a team player.
• Detailed documentation skills are required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary.
• Strong customer service and client-facing skills are required.
