Description:

The Adaptavist Group is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to work remotely in South Africa.
The role involves building and maintaining ScriptRunner Cloud products.
Responsibilities include contributing to engineering best practices to ensure product reliability and scalability.
The engineer will be responsible for continuous integration and delivery, overseeing new functionality from development to production.
The position requires collaboration with product teams to support, investigate, and resolve production issues.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience in at least one backend language (Java, Python, PHP, etc.) and one front-end JavaScript/TypeScript framework (React, Angular, Vue).
Good written and verbal communication skills are essential.
The ability to work effectively across time zones and independently on tasks is required.
Experience with CI/CD practices for software delivery is necessary.
Candidates should have experience working in an Agile team environment.
Experience with AWS or other cloud providers is required, particularly in building services.
