Description:

Kodex is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team and help build their Law Enforcement Response portal.
The company creates software that assists private companies in handling lawful data requests from governments.
The role involves working closely with the Director of Product to design, develop, and enhance features for the portal.
The engineer will lead projects to optimize system performance, including database usage, encryption middleware, and front-end responsiveness.
Participation in an on-call rotation (about one week every two months) is required, where the engineer will address support requests, monitor metrics, and respond to incidents to ensure reliability.
The engineer will also review code and contribute to improving engineering best practices.
Kodex is an early-stage startup, and each engineer is expected to wear multiple hats.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of full-stack web development experience.
Proficiency in TypeScript, Node, and React, or similar technologies is required, with the ability to start contributing immediately after a two-week on-ramp period.
A solid grasp of web application lifecycles is necessary, along with the ability to dive into database and system optimizations.
Proven experience working in fast-paced environments is essential.
Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States, as the company does not sponsor visas.
