Description:

As a Software Engineer on the DAO team, you will design, build, and maintain scalable systems that deliver a first-class experience for both Credit Union members and staff, ultimately driving the growth in newly opened accounts.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with our Product and Design teams, as well as collaborate with external partners, enhancing skills beyond engineering, such as communication, product thinking, and negotiation.
The Digital Account Opening (DAO) team plays a critical role at Clutch by enabling customers to seamlessly open new accounts and start investing their money, strengthening the overall financial ecosystem.
The team consists of skilled full stack engineers who collaborate closely to tackle challenging problems in a supportive and hands-on environment.
You will be fully onboarded within 3 months, building strong relationships with team members and stakeholders, and collaborating to enhance the platform.
Within 6 months, you will ensure high-quality code delivery, write elegant and testable code, and maintain documentation for stakeholders.
By 9 months, you will continuously improve team processes, deliver new features, and identify opportunities for faster, reliable solutions and architectural improvements.

Requirements:

You must possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
Proficiency in one or more technical languages is required, preferably TypeScript (both back-end and front-end), React, Node.js, Python, and AWS.
You should have proficiency in backend development with a strong focus on scalable and reliable systems.
Excellent English communication skills are essential for this role.
The ability to work collaboratively in a remote-first environment is necessary.
