Remote Full Stack Software Engineer

Description:

• Engineer Up provides ServiceNow consulting and fullstack software engineering for companies that demand results.
• The position is for a Mid-Level Full Stack Software Engineer with approximately 3 to 5 years of experience.
• The role involves building scalable and reliable web solutions, requiring a versatile developer comfortable across the entire stack.

• The position is 100% remote, with expectations to work in the eastern or central US time zone.
• Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining scalable full stack applications, with frontend experience in React and backend experience in Java, Python, .NET, or others.
• The engineer will participate in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and system design.
• Collaboration with leadership and senior team members to conceptualize new features is essential.
• The role requires optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability, adhering to security and data protection standards, and staying updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Java (or another backend language), Spring/Spring Boot, MySQL, and JavaScript/React is necessary.
• Experience with React is a must, and familiarity with Next.js is highly recommended.
• Knowledge of SQL databases, specifically MySQL, and the ability to craft stored procedures is required.
• Experience with cloud services such as AWS is essential.
• A proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git, is necessary.
• Experience with continuous integration is required.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in full stack development is required.
• The candidate must demonstrate the ability to build complex web applications and possess strong organizational and project management skills.
• Fluency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, is essential.
• Knowledge of DevOps and automated testing is a plus.
