As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will join a product engineering squad to help build a modern messaging platform.
Key responsibilities include shipping secure and maintainable code, proactively improving technical approaches, learning and implementing solutions, fixing production issues, collaborating on code reviews and documentation, and participating in end-to-end delivery of work.
You will use your cross-functional skills to adapt and solve problems within an agile team.
Requirements:
A proven track record of delivering high-quality software to customers is essential.
Commercial hands-on experience in NodeJS/Typescript programming is required.
Experience across the tech stack, including software architecture, frontend and backend development, database systems, and test automation is necessary.
Hands-on experience with NodeJS, TypeScript, Microservices, AWS Serverless, REST APIs, and Docker is needed.
A passion for clean code and best engineering practices is expected.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex issues are necessary.
The ability to work independently with minimal guidance is essential.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
Experience with Serverless Framework and AWS serverless cloud computing technology is necessary.
Experience in software design and architecture in scalable microservices is required.
Familiarity with NodeJS frameworks such as Express, Fastify, Nest, Sails, Meteor, LoopBack, or Hapi.js is needed.
NoSQL experience, particularly with DynamoDB, is required.
Experience with messaging platform services like AWS SQS and RabbitMQ is necessary.
Familiarity with AWS technologies such as VPC, ECS, Lambda, Cognito User Pool, SNS, Kinesis, ElastiCache, and API Gateway is required.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly CircleCI, is necessary.
DevOps experience, including infrastructure as code (IaC) with AWS CloudFormation and deployment tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, is required.
Experience with cloud monitoring tools, particularly Datadog and AWS CloudWatch, is necessary.
