ClickHouse is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer for their Billing Engineering team, responsible for building the billing platform behind ClickHouse Cloud.
The role involves designing and building mission-critical processes that ensure operational continuity.
Engineers will create with purpose, making informed decisions throughout the creative process to effectively present ideas and solutions to peers and stakeholders.
The position requires delivering secure, efficient, mature, and highly available frameworks and platforms that simplify infrastructure complexity.
Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams is essential to define business strategies, user needs, and optimal solutions.
Integration with various systems such as Billing, Metering, Logging, Monitoring, and Support is a key responsibility.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of relevant software development experience, particularly in building front-end systems on the cloud.
A minimum of 1+ years of experience in developing billing or metering systems is required.
Proficiency in technologies such as React, TypeScript, Serverless, and Node.JS is essential, with encouragement for proficiency in multiple languages.
Experience with billing concepts, including credit card processing, usage-based billing, metering, CSP marketplaces, invoicing, sales tax, auditing, and record keeping is necessary.
Candidates should have experience leading and shipping large scope technical projects in collaboration with multiple engineers.
A full-cycle developer mindset is required, with strong ownership and experience in building and operating high-scale, distributed systems.
Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their infrastructure as a service offerings is needed.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within and across engineering teams are essential.
Strong problem-solving abilities and solid production debugging skills are required.
