Description:

  • Jitterbit is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join their Cloud Applications team.

  • Responsibilities include designing, architecting, and developing new capabilities for Cloud Application products using technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, CSS3, Nginx, Tomcat, Kafka, Elasticsearch, MySQL, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • The engineer will have full lifecycle responsibilities to create robust, scalable, and distributed systems that operate flawlessly 24/7/365.

Requirements:

  • Candidates should have 5-8+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed applications.
  • Strong experience in building multi-tenant SaaS applications is required.
  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills are necessary.
  • Candidates should possess strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microservices and Cloud-based architectures/design patterns is essential.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, Java Node.js, or Go is required.
  • Familiarity with application deployment via Docker and/or Kubernetes is necessary.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront is required.
  • Bonus skills include experience using DataDog APM and logging, and developing and releasing using CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions.
  • Candidates should be self-driven, capable of working in a distributed team, and able to excel in a remote culture.
