Description:

  • Jitterbit is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join their Cloud Applications team.

  • Responsibilities include designing, architecting, and developing new capabilities for various Cloud Application products using technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, Node.js, CSS3, Nginx, Tomcat, Kafka, Elasticsearch, MySQL, Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • You will have full lifecycle responsibilities to create robust, scalable, and distributed systems that operate flawlessly 24/7/365.

Requirements:

  • You must have 5-8+ years of experience in building large-scale distributed applications.
  • Strong experience in building multi-tenant SaaS applications is required.
  • You should possess strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microservices and Cloud-based architectures/design patterns is necessary.
  • Excellent JavaScript, CSS, and HTML authoring skills are required.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java Node.js, or Go is essential.
  • Familiarity with application deployment via Docker and/or Kubernetes is needed.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services such as DynamoDB, S3, or CloudFront is required.
  • Bonus points for experience using DataDog APM and logging.
  • Bonus points for experience developing and releasing using CI/CD pipelines, such as GitHub Actions.
  • You should have excellent verbal and written English language skills.
  • The ability to work in a distributed team and excel in a remote culture is essential.
  • You should be self-driven and capable of working on key initiatives.
